Although not completed, this design was for the Presidential Suite (top floor) of the Mark Hopkins Hotel in San Francisco. This room is the only room never renovated architecturally from the original design. The proposed furnishings were to compliment the architectural details, yet accommodate a US President or other dignitary on occasion.
